George Conyne

George Conyne was born in Pennsylvania and took degrees in History and Law. He came to England for three years to write a PhD in Anglo-American Diplomatic History at Cambridge. That was 1983, and he's still here. He taught at University College London, Keele and Birmingham before taking a permanent post at the University of Kent in History and American Studies. He retired in 2018 and continues to live in Canterbury.
